Alan G Steele: Fine Art Photographer.

Alan was born in St Andrews Fife Scotland and is self taught. Introduced to photography by his father at a very young age using his box brownie camera and developing his first black and white film at the age of eleven. Things have moved on a bit from then, with pixels and what not! However, the passion has never changed and he still finds himyself spending every wakened moment seeking potential photographic images in just about everything he looks at.

Influences have been many, in particular a love of portrait photographers from the 1940 and 1950 eras as well as a love of the painted picture. With this in mind it is not

surprising that it has often been said that his

work has the feel of an artist painting a picture.

It is hoped that these images give some enjoyment

to all who view them. All limited edition prints are

signed and numbered.
